RFID Standards

Although the current situation will develop over time-and probably in the short-term-one of the common statements made about RFID technology today is the lack of standards. It is the most-often used excuse for a client or vendor not adopting RFID. What most people using this excuse fail to understand is that there are three totally distinct industries in which RFID is applied, and their complaint is really only applicable to the UHF bank being used on retail distribution and logistics, where the standards are still evolving.
