RFID Assessment
Before any system design or planning takes place, the very first step in the process leading to an RFID installation is an assessment of the concept. In the most global terms, what is the problem that needs to be addressed? Without any bias toward a particular solution, describe the pain point. The value of an RFID assessment is that it will lead to a solid and empirically-supported conclusion about how the problem is best solved—whether or not it is an RFID solution

RFID Site Analysis
RFID Pre-Installation Planning- If the RFID Assessment concludes that the best solution is RFID integration, the next step is to configure the solution in as great a detail as possible. The solution configuration always starts with the tag and proceeds outward from there. This checklist is completed by customer personnel and reviewed by EMS technical support before scheduling an on-site pre-installation survey by the EMS Technical Support staff.
On-Site Pre-Installation Survey Checklist- This checklist details the items which will be inspected by the EMS Technical Support Engineer during the on-site pre-installation survey

RFID Site Installation
Installation Documentation and Utilities- Once the system is designed, which is a collaborative process involving the customer and EMS Technical Support staff, all documentation necessary to support the installation is compiled. This includes EMS publications, manuals and software to support installation planning. All project documents are assembled into one resource kit and shipped to a customer-designated point of contact.
