Fotel has been named to a seat on the Advisory Board of the Integrated Manufacturing Systems, Department of Technology at Illinois State University. We sit around a table with Rockwell Automation, Caterpillar, Johnson Controls, Mitsubishi Motors, Nestle, Bosch and others.

It’s an auspicious group and we are much honored to be among them.

The Department of Technology at ISU offers a BS degree with programs in construction management, graphic communications, technical education, integrated systems management and industrial controls systems. Fotel’s initial involvement at ISU has been in the graphic communications program as a guest presenter in barcode quality. Our presentations are based on the Barcode 101 seminar which has been presented to William Wrigley, Jr.  Company, Kraft Foods, Storck Candy Company, Weyerhaeuser and others.

Plans are under development for a future presentation on RFID in manufacturing systems, with a particular focus on process automation.
